ROLE: ART DIRECTOR + PHOTOGRAPHER

 
 

Agolde is a brand that remixes classic denim for the social media generation. As art director, my job was to produce brand assets and collateral that spoke to a younger consumer without alienating a broader audience. I leveraged my creative direction, photography and design skills to sculpt a brand image that we leveraged across seasonal campaigns, an e-commerce site, a brand magazine and multiple collaborations.

I curated a network of leading industry talent to create a visual world that felt fresh and familiar at the same time. At an internal level, I developed and over saw systems so that seasonal assets were created and distributed on time to the brand’s global stakeholders.

I built this brand’s visual DNA around diverse, unconventional talent and youth culture. I worked closely with stylists to find a balance between classic pieces and edgier, fashion concepts. In my photography I leaned into the style of music and art photos of the 90s, while my graphic design was influenced by a avant grade fashion publications.
